Here in NL you have to be within sight of your partner. It's kind of stupid really, there are lots of places here where if your 20 feet away you would never see them, lol.
Listening to other peoples shots in the woods can be entertaining on times though. Myself, and a buddy both emptied our guns at the same time at a cow a few years ago. I had problems with my rifle (7400
) at the time so I was using slugs while my buddy had a lever action. It was very late in the season so we took zero chances, both of us let go at the same time, 7 shots in about 4 seconds. When we got to the downed animal and was just starting to clean it, two other hunters walked up. They heard the shots and nearly soiled their clothes thinking WW3 was breaking out, lol.
