Calling all Canadian importers, I need this!!!!

The MSR RX 22TM is a joint development by three German companies: ANSCHÜTZ, GERMAN SPORT GUNS and ESC Ulm.

So if ISSC is in fact a.k.a. GSG....Wouldn't the ISSC be the same gun? As Dr.Lector stated^^

ISSC is different company than GSG,
but ISSC in fact is almost the same with the other company, ESC Ulm.

This may be worth a read, have a look at the 50 shot group at 50 meters (page 9).

We need to see a couple of hands on reviews that show function and accuracy. If anyone wants to send one this way I will try to do a good job ;)

The ISSC is a Chinese made gun, I'd rather pay a premium and have it made by the Germans. The Chinese ISSC is not the same gun to me. There have been a lot of cycling issues with them, and for $700 it's a no go for me. I'm hoping when the Anschutz model comes out, they'll have a better product with a slightly higher price tag.

NICE! That's a small premium to pay. I'm having a hard time finding them, and I'm a google ninja. Can you point me in the right direction?

The video above at 49 seconds.

I hope it doesn't take the fun out of owning your MK22. I'm sure it's still a riot to own and shoot. I remember reading that somewhere in a written review as well, but I can't find any links to it. I would imagine that a claim like this made by Anschutz would open them up to legal problems, so I believe the guy. Maybe it was "designed" in Germany, or just the part that has "made in Germany" was actually made in Germany. What really sold me on the RX22 was that there's an Anschutz match trigger inside. I've never owned an Anschutz before, but based on the opinion of others that an Anschutz match trigger is a very good thing.

Oh, and at 1:12 in the video link above, the guy mentions the stock being available in wood. I'm sure you'll hate me for this one because I know how much you like wood stock. Sorry about the low blow bfiles. =D

I'd be willing to bet the only thing Assshutz swaps in as their own is the trigger and sear, and ever other internal component is Chinese.

The Anschutz sales agent said that 80% of the rifle was made in Germany. You would think that give the parts are 80% German made that the Germans would also assemble it, which should be huge advantage over the ISSC. The Chinese put up suicide nets, so I don't think the factory workers give too much of a crap about tolerances and fit/finish. They look similar, but the Anschutz looks more like its own rifle when they avoid doing stupid things like using a shroud to hide a puny barrel inside. Although reviews on the Anschutz RX22 are non-existant, I'm willing to bet that the fit/finish and material quality is well above the Chinese version. It would be nice if someone could confirm this that does have an Anschutz. I'm sure most would agree that Anschutz is a quality company.
