In the late 90s I went to the Syracuse gun show with my Dad. My Dad was an avid Hi-Power collector, he wrote a few books on the subject even (eee Inglis Diamond, Law). Anyways, during that show, at the ripe age of 8-10 I knew what a BHP looked like and pointed out a slide and barrel in a display case. My Dad was floored, the numbers matched a frame he had at home. When he told the seller, the guy refused to sell the slide and barrel wanting the frame, and my dad, refusing to sell the frame wanting the slide and barrel resulted in a deal never materializing.
Anyways, that story aside, as I've cleared my Dad's estate I noted he has 2 sets of numbered magazines and in the off chance someone on this forum has these pistols I would love to see the mags be reunited with their rightful firearm.
