Model 63 made in japan. Is it something worth buying, Not too familiar with history or pros and cons on Win Made in japan . I have a 94/22 in 22mag and shes a beauty made in New Haven Which might mean nothing. Not sure I won't sell it Love the Lever of a Win. It's the only Win I have. Was thinking about adding to my collection a semi butt load Is it a collector for 800 bucks new or should I say for get it and get a BEUTIFUL!!!!! Mossy oak Browning lever. Are they a beauty or what

Not a "Winchester" guy per se, but rimfire fan of the highest order!

Obviously, later production won't have the same "collect-ability" of the originals. If you're looking for a well made rifle, you should be ok. Miroku doesn't turn out junk! The one of these I have seen had a nice deep blue, and good lookin' wood.

The model 63 is a beautiful design. Miroku produces high quality firearms. It is a very shootable rifle. It's still collectable, but not 'New Haven' cachet. $800 sounds like market value for one in exceptional/NIB condition; maybe a little high. It should have dovetail grooves for a scope; most original Winchesters didn't.

I forgot to add. All the guns with mags 25rds Which I have. Not beating up anyone. But aren't they beautys. The old tube fed butt semis. The browning auto22 The 63 and old Mossberg. I know the capicity is the limited . I'm not bashing the Rugers or anything or the Tactical stuff. How many of you guys see a Browning Auto 22 or a Win 63 a LGS and pick it up and say . I got to add one of these to my collection. Just nice wood and a good gun

The tube magazine with the large tear-drop loading port in the side of the stock makes these rifles very easy to load quickly. Faster and easier than a box magazine.
