Calling out...Browning Hi Power buff

I guess My question is...
I'm not a collector, but I do have a couple of rifles that I just won't use as they are keep sakes.
My thoughts are it may we worth more to some one who collects and I would buy one to use.Am I thinking right or not.I wouldn't even have a clue what it's worth.

I own a 2T###x and I shoot it when ever I can. They are service pistols and are well built. I have some firearms that don't see much use for one reason or another but the Hipower isn't one of them. I say, "Enjoy them the way they were intended.

Just my view, your mileage may vary.

There was just under 94,000 of the T series pistols, and around 60,000 of the Chinese version. Total official production was 153480, plus some oddballs and lunch box specials.

W00t. Mine is rarer then the fixed sight model..now if I could find the holster / stock to complete it.
I bought mine a few years ago for $350. It was a package deal. I got 2 mags, 2 holsters, Pachmyer wrap around grips and the originals and around 400 rounds of 9mm ball.
According to the Hi-Power experts here, mines been refinished.

Hmmm, its got a lot of holster wear and looks well used. I'd say 600 is about right, but if you could get more thats great, it will help increase the value of mine.

It could sell for $600-$900, IMO. Looking at the pics I'd say the higher side. If you got it for under $600, you got a deal.
