At a gun show on the weekend. On a table was a very early 1900s, long octagon barrel 94, 30-30, looking like it just came out of the factory. It must have been a professional job of refinishing and bluing. I didn't see the lettering, to see how sharp they were, nor did I talk to the person who had it for sale.
I have no interest in it, but just curious to know the collector value of such an obviously refinished speciman, even if it does look very professional.
