Cam pro .44 Mag 240 TC for hunting deer?

I am wondering if the total copper plated flat point Cam Pro bullets would be any good to hunt deer with when shot out of a .44 mag carbine at about 1700 FPS MV. Will they expand? or just act like a flat nose full metal jacket? I have only shot targets with these bullets. Any real life experience out there?

Funny cause I use .45 colt of the same Co. for my Casull (which "should" have the same plating) and I put 31.5 Gr. or H110 powder in them, recipe max load says 28.5 and gives 1785Fps on the Hodgdon site, so mine should be closer to 1900 and they give me nice round holes in paper.

On CamPro's website they claim that the plating they use is thicker and more ductile than the competition. Might be a factor with the Berry's? I wonder also if the widely varying groove diameter and rifling style on .44 magnum carbines will make a difference. I am beginning load development with a new Chiappa that seems to have a reasonably tight bore, ( not slugged yet) and an older Rossi that measures .430" across the grooves. I could not get anything but jacketed bullets to shoot well in my Marlin at .431" so I sold it.
 
I would be concerned about running afoul of game regulations; a plated bullet could easily be construed as a "full metal jacketed, hardpoint, non-expanding" bullet per SK hunting regulations. Use either a hard cast bullet or an expanding jacketed bullet instead.

I use Campros too. In a 45 Mares Leg over only 26gr of H110. No issues. Penetrates a 10" green poplar tree @ 1M with a round exit. Also use them in a 44 Blackhawk over 25grH110. Again, nice round holes.
 
I wouldn't use the campros for hunting. They don't expand very well. If it's for hunting you shouldn't need 500 of them anyway, so use something like the hornady FTX or XTP.

This is not the hunting forum so I won't post picture of proof but got it done 2017 with the Cam Pro 44mag 240gr TMJ at 1300 FPS at 84 yards. You do your part and the bullet will do its part and the deer is good as dead. So yes... it'll kill deer within 100 yards.
 
I wrote the manufacturer, and this is the reply, so I have my answer! Not designed to expand, so not legal for big game in Saskatchewan. No doubt it would work OK in some situations though. Thanks to all who took the time to give their opinion.
"Cam Pro 44 mag TC was not designed to expand. Hence it can not be used for hunting. However you can use this bullet in carbine
for target shooting as it can withstand carbine velocity up to 1600 FPS."
