Went to Reliable Guns yesterday after lunch to buy ammo came home with this.

Glock 19 gen 3 threaded w/ threaded barrel. Apparently they just got them in at around 2pm. Fondled it and really like it. Started the transfer at 2:30pm went home called the CFO around 4pm and they said transfer was completed, asked for a short-term ATT and went back to the store to pick it up.

Really like the high metal suppressor sights much easier to pick up than the crappy plastic glock ones. Stock trigger felt much nicer than my gen 4 Glock 17 in stock form. I actually had a gen 4 Glock 19 before but sold it cause it didn't fit my hand that well. I think it's the bigger palm swell area on the gen 3 that I like. Only thing I didn't like is the cheap plastic thread protector.

Thank you Reliable Guns for helping me lighten my wallet for the weekend. :)

Along with my other polymer toys. :)

I'll stick with my G19 Gen 4 with the IGB barrel. The restricted barrel is already bad enough. The threaded barrel makes it look even worse. :stirthepot2:

Your wife may fall for this story, but since you need to wait for the ATT to take it home from the gun store, you had this planned out well in advance ;)

True story. Transfer done and issued by email to the store within 2hrs of me deciding to purchase! The salesperson did the transfer right away and said give them a call sometimes they can do it right away and issue a short term ATT.

My friend had a similar experience dealing at Reliable as well. Great service!

Got to pay for mine and cradle it today. The factory steel sights are pretty cool. I found I was able to hold the front sight with both eyes open (rear sight is black, front sight is a yellow dot). Interested to try a new sight technique when I drag her out to the range.

Hopefully the transfer goes monday.

Where did you get it? Also just a note it's a LH / reverse thread. To screw in you have to turn counterclockwise. Not sure of this is standard on threaded glock barrels.

Check tornado technologie. They make the right thread protector for glock factory barrels. Yes they are LH so you have to turn counterclockwise just like HK....
