Camo Connundrum

Remember if you use your hunter orange vest, toque, or hat to mark your enclosed blind you still need to be wearing the required hunter orange in the blind. I know it doesn’t make sense but all big game hunting in Ontario requires hunter orange to be worn. The exception to that is bear hunting in a stand when there is no other big game season.

Hunter orange is only required for hunting during the rifle season for deer and moose, not "big game season". Turkey hunters and water fowlers are also exempt along with bear hunters in their tree stands.

Sorry Canadian_Zuk, by big game season I meant gun season for deer, elk, or moose.
From Page 25 of the 2014 Hunting Regulations:
Hunter Orange
The objective of the hunter orange regulation is to maximize hunter safety without negatively impacting hunting success. Under this regulation, all licensed hunters, including bow hunters and falconers, hunting during a gun season for deer, elk, or moose, are required to wear hunter orange. This requirement does not apply to persons who are hunting migratory game birds, except woodcock.
In addition, all licensed black bear hunters hunting during the open season for black bear are required to wear hunter orange except when in a tree stand.
Where there is a gun season for moose, elk, or deer concurrent with an open black bear season, then the only persons exempted from wearing hunter orange are migratory game bird hunters as indicated above.
