Hey all. I need help in finding the best brand of non insulated waterproof camo hunting pants in marsh grass or max4d or max5 or even real tree green patterns.
Without any decent hunting gear store near by i cant physically check them out and the few off brands ive ordered online have been a disapointment.

Im looking for something for those warm wet early season mornings that can be worn all day without over heating. I hate taking cloths on and off and carrying them out. I walk thru alot of clover and alfalfa fields early mornings that are always super wet
I have lots of gortex and other dry gear but its all for colder hunting.
So what do you wear that works?

I have a few different ones from different companies.
Honestly, I've had good luck at Giant Tiger over the years. If you have a Giant Tiger near you, go check it out.
Canadian Tire usually has a good selection too

What is your budget?

I've pretty much given up on moderate priced pants. I either go really cheap now and throw them out at the end of the season in tatters or save up for the really high end stuff and take good care of them. The high end stuff is NICE if it is in the budget.

For comfortable hunting gear that keeps me out longer and gets me out more i will sacrifice to make the budget. Provided its quality gear. I definitely dont want cheap throw aways. I want to be dry and comfortable without over heating walking in in the mornings. Whether its a lightweight water proof shell that goes over my jeans or actual pants doesnt matter as long as its light and waterproof and quiet as possible

Something like this sounds exactly what you are looking for. (caveat I have NOT purchased a pair though other first lite stuff has been really reliable and amazingly well made) This stuff is WAY nicer then the issued gortex we used to get in the army. I want a pair and this was the 'answer' after some research when I was thinking about the same question you are.

I ended up going with Merino pants. Nature already has the solutions, hahahaha, and there is something great about the feeling when you do get wet you stay perfectly warm and comfortable. Everyone is different but don't discount them even though they aren't technically water proof.

If you are used to hunting in Jeans (cotton is just about the very worst thing you can ever wear while hunting) then anything is going to be a huge step up in comfort.

If I'm expecting to get wet, I'll wear something 100% waterproof underneath my regular pants. I have a "stealth suit", it gets more use hunting than on Exs. The nice thing about this combo is that it's loose and breathes. But wearing this underneath pants on a sunny day would be too hot.

The gaiters suggestion mightn't be a bad idea...

Do they offer any non insulated? When i checked their site it was all insulated or fleece lined for layering

This is what I have:

"Constructed from 2-layer wind- and water-resistant fabric, the Browning® Dirty Bird Wader Pants for Men use a single layer fabric below the knee to eliminate bulk in the wader. Hook 'n' loop adjustable tabs on the cuffs tighten around the ankle for sliding into waders, while the smooth shell fabric allows waders to slide on/off easily. Pants also feature fully constructed waist with partial elastic waistband, one rear security pocket, and two front pockets. 100% polyester. Machine wash."
