I need some insight in removing the left over residue from my camo tape on my shotgun.
Im going to be painting the whole gun camo and would really appreciate some tips on painting my 870 as well.:)

Acetone, I stripped an 870 from several coats of Krylon that the previous owner had camoed. Did a great job and no damage to the bluing.

X1 on Goo Gone. Works fantastic. You can buy it at Canadian Tire. Takes camo tape residue off quickly, won't damage the finish.

You know when you buy a book thats been on the shelf for a while, and when you take the price sticker off, it leaves half the sticker and all the glue residue behind? Well Goo Gone takes off the sticker and glue, but leaves the book cover virtually unmarked.

I recently bought a 70's vintage mint Bushell Banner on Ebay from a guy in Ontario. It had been sitting for years and years with a price tag on the forward bell. Didn't want to try to pick at the old tag, it was stuck on there rock hard. So I gently soaked it with Goo Gone, and it was off in 5 mins, no residue, do damage.

If you can find it "Lawson Flush Off" It's orange based won't harm paint or wood and will disolve practiaclly any glue including hardened contact cement.
