CamPro bullets

I am currently loading all of my 9mm with Campro 124 CP HP; they cut a clean hole in paper. All of my other pistol ammo, I load with DRG cast lead; I find they shoot more accurately than plated or FMJ ammo. Polymer coated were the worst of the worst.

I always loaded 55 gr. Speer bullets in .223, I tried Campro, and can not get groups less than 2-2 1/2" at 100 yards. Fine for cheap plinking, but at 300 yards, that would be a missed ground hog about 60% of the time. Not good enough IMO.

Have you found success stabilizing 55gr bullets in a 22.250 with a 1:14 twist? I searched for a very long time and found very little success. When using 40gr bullets I would shoot sub MOA but 55s were all over the place with many different powder types and head depths.

Been looking at the 147gr 30 cal. For a cheap plinker. But then I found 168gr Speer bullets for about the same price.
But how are they? For when my stock piles runs out.
