So this load? That specifically calls for a magnum primer? Were magnum primers used?

Ginex. It's what we had at that time and was used in an 1892 lever action and a SAA revolver. All with OEM springs etc.

lol, I'm asking if small pistol magnum primers were used? I bet your pard used regular Ginex SPP when the load calls for magnum primers, regardless of brand. Anywho, I've wasted too much of your time and mine.

I was doing ok with CFE pistol under a plated bullet to ICORE power factor. Would have been Winchester or Fiocchi primers.
