Not sure when it's officially released but should make a decent plinking bullet. Capped out at 2000fps so it can't be pushed to max, I think they'd have done better with a 400+grn bullet but that's just me...

heavier bullet would be more expensive. Campro is all about prices.

I wish they'd make a .50 bullet. Any weight.
 
300gr is a pretty common weight for modern .45-70 and .458 SOCOM. A heavier bullet would be nice for a .45-70 but they're looking at the entire market for .458" bullets; not just lever guns. A .458 SOCOM shoots a 300gr at 1900fps so is perfect and it still works for .45-70 as a medium-plinker (no full-house barn burners but not a kitten-fart either).
