Campro or Aim??? 40s&w???

Hi,
What make do you guy/gals prefer between the two? The bullets will be used in my glock 35/22 for IPSC.

i use aim, but some guys at my club claim that the weights of CAMPRO are more consistent and thus more accurate then AIM. Ive never had any issues with AIM though and ive used about 4k of them in the last 12 months
 
Can you guys show me the shape of AIM's 40cal 165gn bullet if you have it?

try Berrys, consistent in diameter and weight, and not that expensive, tried both Aim and Canpro too, will stick with Berrys
 
Neither go with Zero the best bullets I have every tried...Not too much more for FMJ compared to a copper plated...I was having trouble with the profile of Aim bullets in my CZ in 9mm so I dumped them all and went with Zero will not buy any other now...Between that and the quality control problems I am out...Too bad we would drive down there and buy 5 or 10 thousand at a time, great guys to deal with at Aim Projectiles..

I have also tried Berry's they are a great bullet for the price for sure...Highly recommend..

I would not buy cam-pro they are over priced in my opinion...

I have been pushing for it but there doesn't seem to be a huge market for them. So I'm outvoted until the economics improve.

It's a truncated round nose. Think round nose with the tip cut off. i don't have a photo handy, sorry.
 
I had a couple of boxes of Cam-Pro bullets whose OAL varied by as much as 0.010".
I've had others where the OAL varied by less than 0.003".
I now purchase 5000 at a time from the same lot once I verify it.

I'd like to give Aim Projectiles a try but at nearly $50.00 a box more than Cam-Pro when they're on special OUCH.
I can get Berrys for less $$
Does anyone sell them in the Montreal area?
I may give them a try just the same.
 
I tested the prototype CamPro 200 gr 40's and love them. Out of a variety of .40's and 10mm's. no issues at all and superb accuracy. Even at the higher 10mm velocities we had no issues with plating coming off or tumbling or anything like that.

You might want to head to CRAFM and see their latest shipment of Zero projectiles. They are all JHP. I took a couple of pictures of the 45 ACP 230 gr HP vs. the Cam-Pro so you can see the difference.

I tested a few brands and ended up going with the CamPro, very accurate, and like you have stated zero issue with plating at high velocity's. :)
