CamPro Order Just Arrived!

^^ same here ^^
I'll be grabbing a couple more boxes from ya soon
Anybody tried and found any differences between the 124gr RN vs HP bullets ?

one is hollow point and one is round nose?

if you are after more, I found that my RCBS seating die leaves a very small "ring" mark on the top/side of the HP rounds and not on the round nose ones, if that means anything to you.

My Hornady die does this as well on the HP's. I haven't tried the RN's

Really ???... I would never have thought that. f:P:
Thanks for your insight, but I was leaning more towards is the accuracy better or other advantage ?

With these prices you might aswell have free shipping. Or they can mark up the price and say free shipping. I bought some last time they had em. Didnt think they would be half the quality they are and consistent round to round that I have loaded so far. Definitely want to order more in .308 and try some in .223

We just received our CamPro order. We have the following in stock and ready to ship:

You can order on our web site: http://fasttoys.net/ca/CamPro-Bullets-Canada/

Right on. Winnipeg guy here as well. We need more small gun shops to sell stuff. we only have cabelas and wholesale.

Sorry guys but free shipping on bullets is not possible without raising the pricing. They just weigh too much.

We have some Vihtavouri powder and dominion small rifle primers as well (people are using these for small pistol replacements).

As far as the RN vs HP debate goes, I have personally found very little difference. My competition open gun shoots 1" groups at 25 yards with the 121 RN's. You will get the odd person that swears HP's are more accurate in their gun but I think the variance if any is very small. Some guns are particular though so it never hurts to try a box and see how they work in your particular gun.

Put a polymer bullet seater in there, i replaced mine to one years ago and works fine

Thanks. How would I go about this? I'm still pretty new to reloading. I was wondering if I needed to readjust the die or if it was a factor of the HP projectile. The reloads have been cycling and shooting fine though.

LOL, I guess you missed the sarcasm/LOL :)

I was playing around.

We can't use hp ammo for its intended use, at least not in pistols. They do punch cleaner holes in paper, at least if its backed up by a board or cardboard. I don't use them, but some guys I shoot with do.

We CAN use them to hunt small game and varmints with hollow point ammo, and there are a few non restricted carbines that shoot 9mm. I am working up a higher speed load for 9mm. Attempting to get close to 2000fps while not over pressure. I am trying slower powder, such as HS-6.

I push our 121 and 124 RN's to 1400 FPS out of a open gun pistol using Autocomp, 3N37 or 3N38 with no issues. I've pushed 95 Gr projectiles to close to 1500 FPS. I am not sure how much just the longer barrel would get you above that.
