Well considering the .25-25 has these dimensions:

and the .25-20 Stevens Single Shot [the original case used to make 2R Lovell cartridges], has these dimensions:

then unless you have a swage die, or a loose chamber, I would say no.
You'd be better off finding and using some .25-20 Stevens Single Shot brass [Jamison, Bertram, or Buffalo, NOT the almost 100 year old original brass] which was the case originally used to make 2R Lovell brass. |
