Can a Bul M-5 1911 take other mags?

So I have a Bul M-5 1911 coming in .40cal. Has anyone tried other (Para, Norc,etc) 1911 hi-cap double stacked mags in their Bul 1911?

So I have a Bul M-5 1911 coming in .40cal. Has anyone tried other (Para, Norc,etc) 1911 hi-cap double stacked mags in their Bul 1911?

My brother had a Bul and used STI mags no worries. The Australian distributor for Bul only supplies STI mags with the pistols he sells. As far as I am aware there is no modification required.
