Just wondering if anybody has had something like this happen or seen it , I'm not taking about over tightening the bolts kind of damage , more like the 2 points of attachment for the shell carrier on the receiver egging out [ for lack of a better term ] i.e , the trigger pin hole and ejector screw hole , after a ton of rounds ?

If the screws are tight, and the right size, and Loc tite'd there shouldn't be an issue. If the screws are too small, or loose, and/or not loc tite'd, then there will eventually be an issue.

As mentioned, if the screws are not really tight in their holes, when you fire, the gun will move backward and the shell plate will try to stay stationary, putting force on the FRONt of the holes in the receiver. There more shells are mounted, the more force will be exerted. Over time, this could egg out the holes. It would probably take a long time though.

Personally, I avoid receiver-mounted shell carriers as bulky and heavy tacticool uselessness. If you REALLY need that much ready access to shells, put some carriers on a MOLLE vest.
