As others have said, they are not just G17's. They are kits that come with chassis, red dot and custom paint jobs.
Op, if you have all the documentation to prove your case I would pay them what they’re asking for , get the firearm in your possession and then look into a small claims court settlement. That’s if you have the spare time and energy to go through with it. They seem to have lots of time to put you off now so it’s in your best interest to settle things now and then take them to task.
Wouldn’t the next move be up to the CFO ?
If the gun was sold for $1000 shipped, and I paid you.. We’ll it’s now on you to ship my now registered gun.
You just can’t keep it can ya?
It's concerning that this could become an issue for many thousands of us.
I certainly do not envy the situation many vendors may find themselves in months from now when they can finally ship these firearms delayed solely by government sloth.
A vendor with a 1000 sold handguns stacked up with say, $20 shipping, costs them $30 when they can finally ship could be a big issue for some.
It may only be $10 for us, but could add up to serious money for an operation already running with a slim margin.
Plus the money loss vendors will encounter by no longer being allowed to sell handguns.
What a s**t show this useless liberal government has deliberately created for everyone.
Well now that I have confirmed their lies and threats are completely false and they cannot do what they threatened to do unless I comply with their extortion they have a gun not registered to them that they cannot do anything with besides sending it to me, I will have to see how they respond to having me prove they were straight up lying and they cannot do what they threatened to do. So I will wait to see what their next response will be
If it was me and they didn't want to release the firearm. I would have reported it stolen from the jump.
I am confused and wonder if you can clarify. Individuals and retailers can initiate a new transfer without the explicit approval of the firearm registration certificate owner, after a transfer has been approved and completed and certificate issued?
Or do you mean reversing a transfer yet to be approved by the CFO?
