Can a store keep my fully transferred handgun from me

That would only really work if Tenda charges his card again without permission. If he provides his credit card details again for the shipping charge then he’s consenting to it and a chargeback wouldn’t be possible.
 
Legally once the transfer is compete, the pistol is the property of the new registered owner and refusing to ship the item once it is fully paid for and legally transfered the retailer is in contravention of fire arms act. If it was paid for with shipping, it's on the retailer to ensure it gets to the new legal owner.
 
This sounds 100% like tenda. Hands down the worst retailer on here. Ive had multiple shipments held because of shipping costs with them. Honestly they dont deserve a dime. Oh, and to top it off, when you call them they are complete d!ckheads to you on the phone.

he wont get emails from cfo about what he stated here that is a given ... up to the time there is a complaint officially filled to the rcmp nothing happened or happening ... and some others are wrong here: tenda can and should reverse the ownership and sell it to someone while they can ...

there is other places for a battle than here ...

Tenda can not reverse the ownership once it has been transferred to someone else and approved by the CFO.

Once the transfer is COMPLETE......Tenda has no more or less power than you calling the CFC and telling them you want to take someone's firearm from them without their consent.

Why does it matter?

Would it be ok if it was $5 and the retailer did it to everyone? I'll sell you something, take your money, then not ship it unless you give me more.

They usually had $20 flat rate shipping . I dunno if they upped prices since but usually the flat rate was for anything under $300 and anything over was free shipping . I would imagine most handguns would qualify for free shipping
 
I didn't read all the pages but as a private seller I've ate some cost at my negotiated price. If i can then a big store can. This seems like their issue as they changed shippers. I now only give a estimate and actually to be determined at time of shipping if its a restricted during this crazy time. I learned that i also get charged the destinations tax rate not my 5% rate locally which adds up.

cool seems you have a reading issue. many inlude myself had reverse ownership before shipping. nothing new here once the firearms is at home that is different ...

Funny how most of the posters here don’t realize this is in the Tenda forum.

I’ve had a couple delivered from Tenda recently and nothing extra was asked past the original charge.

Was that a consignment Glock 17? Never knew Wolverine to be gougers. But if it was consignment then the owner sets the price. I bought my G17 for under $900 from them. The only people I see selling Glocks for double and triple retail are greedy individuals trying to make a fast buck.
 
This is more about energy management. Would you pay $X to never have to think about this again? Time and energy are more precious than a few bucks. Pay it, get your gun and never shop there again.
