Can Ammo 7.62 x 51

In the US they had both corrosive and non-corrosive of that ammo and they couldn't know the difference.
How can we be sure these are non-corrosive?

It seems it has hard primers, M14 safe.

That's the first time I heard Nork even make corrosive 308. All boxer primed ammo form Norinco should be non-corrosive.

I googled Norinco .308 ammo and got almost only reports from the US. There, most advised to consider it corrosive.

So to your experience, none of this ammo in Canada was corrosive right?
I want to believe you because I just ordered some. Now if it was corrosive it would be a big turn-off and I would get rid of it.

I am 100% sure Leverarms carried Nork 308 back 10 years ago. And that was non corrosive steel cased.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Borrowed 50 rounds from a friend at the range yesterday and ran them through my Norc M14S. Thoughts,

- Fed and shot well - no failures of any kind
- Brass looked fine with no major deformities after firing
- Accuracy is on par with surplus ammo and slightly worse than MFS and commercial ammo.
- Seemed to be a touch dirtier than MFS
- Felt recoil was the same
- Ammo was consistent upto 250m. Did not test it further.

Overall: Good plinking ammo. I might just get some for 'introductory' range days with friends.
