When these were plentiful 5 or 6 years ago are reblued “capture” refurbs (similar to k98k rc’s but usually with new-at-time-of-refurb walnut lower stocks) maybe 20-30% of them had unground Czech or Romanian crests. They unground examples sold out quickly, the scrubbed ones were slow movers. Is that a Romanian VZ-24 with the crest intact? If so it’s a pretty rare find (vast majority had the crest ground off). It also means it is likely is a battlefield capture or some other suituation.
If it is Romanian the stock disk likely refers to the unit it belonged to. 51D likely being the unit and the 1439 likely being the rack number.
