atv exhaust, cigarette butts, jacket bullets, chainsaws, campfires... all can start fires.

Just ban tracers in the summer.

It is not unusual to see low velocity bullets when the light is right.
A spotter can often watch the "swirl" left by his partner's bullet.
On occasion, if conditions are just right, I've seen a metallic streak of a high velocity bullet.

I seen that once with .303 bullets flying toward a hundred yard target when the bright sun was behind me.

I can sometimes see shot clouds on the skeet field. With braked rifles and long shots ive watched bullets go all the waybto the target
The coolest was a sunny day and my buddies 22 243. And 50gr varmint bullets. Theyd explode about 30 yards out of the muzzle
The worst thing to watch in flight is an arrow launched at a real nice buck only to find out it was a monster standing 20 yards further than you thought. Watching the arrow drop between the ground and his belly. Heartbreaking

Seeing centerfire bullets is impressive. Never seen any in flight

I had a box of CCI sub sonic (700 FPS?) and could easily watch them at the indoor range. With good light outside you should be able to see the slower ones.

At the right angle and humidity and light it can be very possible to see the vapor trail and bullet moving to target. it is great to see it heading to the gong on long shots and to have it on video.

22lr at 100 yards with a good indirect sun. Can see em all day zinging and curving lol.
