Can anyone help me make a choice ?

I have checked Wanstalls and cannot find a posting for the SP01-Shadow.

Only one I can see is Jo Brooks, but I cannot tell if they are advertising the right gun. The SP01-Shadow should have a bottom accessory rail - the picture on their site does not.
 
You could try making a trip to the Buffalo Gun Center. It's not very far across the border and they have a ton of handguns. Touch and feel everything you can get your hands on, then ask what it would cost for you to buy one. They have one guy that specializes in sales to Canadians with a process in place. Many people have reported a savings, even after the extra fees for paperwork and transportation to the border.
 
I agree with "my_2_cents. Save money for ammo then practice, practice, practice .
I remember I went through a lot of ammo for my IPSC black badge .
Caseloads of wolf from SFRC.

That's my plan. Once I do a bit of training with my 22 ill switch to my 9mm when I get it and practice away. I was gonna ask about that wolf ammo, if its good practice quality ill be in touch with SFRC
 
In my area the guys that don't reload use wolf for practice and competition. Very good ammo, good price & sfrc is easy to deal with.
The guys that do reload are still using wolf for cases, etc.

That's great to hear - I live in an apartment and just don't have the room to setup a workshop for reloading. Its something I plan to get into as soon as my living situation changes.
 
May get crap on this one, but after seeing the warped Glock in a prior post I'm glad I picked up a Browning HP. Plastic pistols feel cheap. Have a KelTec sub 2k, feels cheap, bought it as a novelty, fun to shoot though. Let the nasty words fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, you could consider a Ruger SR9 at $475 (Lever Arms) and put the money saved into ammo and accessories - holster, mag pouches, etc.

No reports of warping, parts breakage, just reliability at an unbeatable price. All those SR9, SR9c, SR40 and SR45 users can't be wrong ..... Like 'em or hate 'em, polymer framed pistols are part of the game now.
 
The CZ Shadow has better ergonomics than the CZ 75B. Fits the hand very well and the trigger is amazing. I find the Glock trigger to be hard to get used to. The Ruger SR9 is also a very nice gun for the price. Mine was extremely accurate and with the magazine safety removed the trigger was very good. I should not have sold either of them.
 
I am still doing some research, I have looked at the SR9 and I agree its a great value and it feels great. It is on my list, but I have learned a valuable lesson going too cheap with a .22LR that was a steaming pile. I know its an apples to oranges comparison but it still has me leery to this day.

I think the only thing that would compel me to go with the value driven SR9 would be that its a Ruger which is quality no matter the price point.

I will keep it in mind.
