Those pointy rods are decapping pins for a sizing die.

The two round things above are the shell holder for an inertia pullet puller (like a hammer).

Correct. It doesn't work well btw. Makes a mess and doesn't catch all of them.

The case is clamped in the shellholder. This unit can be handheld or chucked in a drill or drill press. The correct rod is selected and screwed into the cutter. The length from the tip of the pin to the cutter is the fixed trim-to-length dimension of the case. The assembly is run through the case and turned until the pin bottoms out against the base of the shell holder, when cutting will stop. Manual or power as preferred. Not adjustable, trims to industry spec. Simple and works.

Your second picture - upper right are a spinner stud and one shell holder for the Lee case Length trim system. Lower left is four length gauges with three trimmers - each gauge has upper section ground or cut to diameter of inside of re-sized case - should be the cartridge name stamped on the shank of each. See picture below - normally the spinner stud (lock stud) and the cutter is bought on one card, then have to buy the shell holder and case length gauge, for each cartridge, on another card. Is easily 20 or more shell holders and case length gauges on hand here - do not have to buy cutter and spinner for every one. I think is three or four spinners and cutters here - some were bought in lots where I do not think seller knew what they were or what they were for and had just tossed them into a "junk" box - which I had bought. Sometimes the cutters were silver coloured, sometimes they were blued.

Your second picture - upper centre - that sure looks like the Lee primer pocket cleaner tool for large or small size primers - is hand held and hand spun to use. I do not know what are the green things to the left of it. Then, appears to be two sizes of shell holders for the inertia bullet puller made by RCBS - I think there was three sizes, in total (different size "holes" to grab shell rims. Your first picture is of a version of a primer catcher - used on some RCBS presses, I think.

Thanks . I haven't come across the powder thrower yet. But now I know to look for it.

They have different size openings for different size case mouths. You'll know which is which by seeing how big the holes are.

Yes, the shell holder with deprimed case goes in the drill, the cutter with the case length pin you hold in your hand and let the cutter trim the case to the proper length,

A minor correction - the "spinner" (Lock stud) goes into a drill, then the shell holder is used to hold a case on that "spinner" - the cutter gets screwed onto the threaded end of the case length gauge, and that cutter is held by hand to trim the case while the case is spun by the drill. Also works well for chamfering, polishing or "de-lubing" cases - any operation where it helps to spin the case on its axis.

I have set a "spinner" into the three jaw chuck on my metal lathe, for operations with the tool post, that I did not have the correct Lee accessory - rough trimming "home formed" cases to length, for example.

Thanks everyone. I may come across more things I'm not quite sure of. I got a quite a bit more to go through. She just got ahold of me last week about this as she said she was finally ready to let go of this stuff. It was a year September 1st that her husband passed away from cancer , he was only 40. She's going to keep all of his guns and ammo though.

No they aren't. They are half of a Lee case trimming tool. The other half are the two metal parts next to the primer pocket cleaning tool
