I recently acquired a press, its red in color and a single stage. the only ID on it is an H inside a C. There is a primer loader hanging out in front. There is a sizing die in it and it maybe similar to a LEE item.

Thanks

That would probably be a CH press made by CH Tool & Die.
They made several different models and still do as far as I know,,,the one I have is a 3 - station press ideal for loading handgun rounds or calibers where 3 dies are required.
They also make an unbelieveable assortment of loading dies...good quality.

They have quite a few relaoding products and probably more oddball (and normal) dies than any other outfit I've ever heard of. Got a set in 8X58R Danish Krag a few months back.

To me it sounds like you have a CH press.
I have one of these my self, bought it about 20 years ago. It's still in great shape. The model that I own is a CH magmum H press. Been using it to load pistol, rifle & shotgun ammo with it.

CH Universal C press

:):)
I sent a picture to CH and they responded right away, its the Universal C Press and the Ram can be still updated to take my 9mm. Might just buy the stuff to updated and try it out. apparently its a 50 year old design.
May I should try to market it as an antique.

Thanks for all you input.

Damorsoft, thats good to know.

I've got one of their old powder measures and was thinking of asking them if they had any parts. It needs a new hopper and possible a new adjuster. I'll have to contact them.
