This tripod was a bring-back from Aghanistan. I have searched the net and not found it's application. Does anyone know what it fits, or can read Chinese (assuming it's chinese) and interpret the data plate?

The chinese part says: Type 85 107 Millimeter Single Barrel Rocket Launcher

Here is a picture.

Just a FYI. 107 MM Rocket is very popular with certain ill equipped troops. They dont even need the launcher to fire!

Generlly, a very cheap, light, and durable fire support weapon for the infantry.

Thank you very much. That should solve this mystery.

and I would go further to say that the Chinese modified or adapted their basic Chinese copy of the PKM for 107mm rocket use, with the tell tale sustained fire spade feet (they generally start with the established MG application and then modify or adapt on a production basis for other use; like 107mm rocket in this case) . I am not sure if this is a heavier version of their PKM copy made more robust that the PKM version. There might be a little NSV MG tripod in this one?? I would have to check
