can anyone identify these magazines??

Anyone know what I've got here? posted here since one is pinned and edges look worked I'm assuming it's cut down to 5, other one appears to be factory 5 rounder. dummy round is .308--9.62x51. seems to fit well. .303 too big........

FN FAL. At least one looks to be inch pattern but it's hard to say for sure since you don't show a good photo of the front of the mag.

thanks, both appear identical to me. I gather there is inch and metric??

Yes, with the front lug being the key giveaway. Inch have a heavy lug brazed on; metric have a small lug punched out of the sheet metal itself.

Metric FAL mags work in the Keltec RFB and see decent demand for that reason. I have not heard of anyone adapting inch pattern mags for that purpose.

The inch pattern FAL was a very popular rifle in Canada at one time and the mags for them were imported in large quantities. Now that the guns aren't being used supply far exceeds demand. Being cut down they have zero value for any collector or display purpose. You would be lucky to get ten bucks for them.
