So a quick trip to the range, 25 m with the el krappo bubba sights and CCI quiets and this was the result. I'm quite happy with it, though I may try to make a rear peep sight.
Very elegant fun rifle to plink with as long as your not in a hurry.

Lovely little gun. I would be very happy to own a similar one.

It has a tang though I can't tell if it's drilled and tapped from the pics. If so it would probably be much more satisfying to shoot with a tang sight.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yes it appears to have a second hole drilled in the tang but I suspect it came with a factory installed tang sight that was likely broken when the but stock was cracked. Any new tang sight will likely have to be fitted. But that's not out of the question, I just have to find a suitable tang sight. I'm open to suggestions on where to look for one.

All I meant was BSA made that martini action style, but your gun is defitnetaly European.

That's a keeper for sure. Something with elegance, age, and wisdom, that can easily take a squirrel at 25 yards, is something to hold onto.

Yup I think it may also be one to start the boys on, and as mentioned it shoots minute of squirt as it stands, not bad for a hundred and fifty bones. Thanks for all the input guys, every bit helped.
