Wanting to swap stocks on my two Vz58s and I need the AR stock spanner to remove the tube. Not looking to spend $40+ on a tool that I will most likely only use once.

Or... Is there any "farmer" rig technique to removing the castle nut?

And shipping tax etc, etc. Will do some searching around again.

I'm difference between a commercial and Milspec castle nut?

Fair enough, I'd offer to let you borrow mine but if I recall your on the wrong coast. Shipping there and back would likely be close to the cost of buying one

Just use vice grips with no padding underneath. If your too cheap to own the right tools to do the job what do you care what it looks like. LOL just kidding, this is the kinder/more gentle cgn, wrap it in leather then use vice grips should work fine. I've bought the tool for 3 or 4 $ from brownells when on sale but still not economical if that's all you are shipping.

Cheers
