Oh its ####ing maddening, but, yeah, 30% is the initial duty, probably end up paying 40% in the end just to get it across he border. But it sounds like Mojo just may be a no go, like on brownells, they list "Cannot ship to canada" on some items, that is the manufacturers choice, sounds like Mojo is the one holding that up to be honest.
But yeah, take the time to see what the CBSA has to say, or maybe someone will chime in on here and help you out, sorry I couldnt really give any helpful info, I just live in vancouver, 45 min from the border, you have no IDEA how frustrating it is that I could order something, drive for an hour and a half, and pay less then half the price on some things, things that never seem to be in canada, and when they are, there is a MASSIVE price hike, such a hike , that they are grossly overpriced and no longer worth it, but I am not allowed to take it across the border myself.
But yeah, even for me to order voodoo tactical gear, at the border, I would instantly have to pay 30 % of what the cost was.
Anyway, I am gonna sub this, if no one else chimes in, be sure to post what the word is if you get to talk to the government about it. Before you do that, call Mojo tomorrow and directly ask them if they even allow their product to be shipped out of country at all, they said they wont ship to canada, ask them if they allow other companies to, lots of companies have middle men, like XS sites , you can through brownells and get whatever you want sent up here.
