Do you guys know of any way of shooting guns to try how they feel? Gun ranges ive seen dont offer this. I ask because I am torn between m2, sbe3, and a400.

I would love to try them before making a choice especially because itd be my first gun.

If you know of any vendor that offers this or if you are willing to shoot your shotgun, please let me know. I am willing to pay too. I really need to make an informed decision as I would only be allowed to get one gun for life per my promise to my wife.. I live in barrie.

targetsportscanada in gormley, you can rent firearms there at their indoor range (don't need membership or license) but i would call first to make sure the shotguns you are interested in are available to rent at the range.
Thank you for this. Just checked and they dont have any guns of my interest :(

I’d be looking for a different wife 😂

It's too bad I don't have any of the guns you are considering. Would be willing to take you to my club as my guest...

If you are ever considering an M4 or 1301, private message me. I have been looking for an SBE3 for quite some time and if I end up getting one I'll private message you.

Agree with others - a club that either does rentals may be able to help, but they won't have everything. Maybe someone here in the GTA would have one of those three models and can take you to their club, if their club allows guests.

Well, the moment she doesn't hold up to a vow, buy another gun. Your sick, she doesn't take care of you, boom, new gun.
Try to have a conversation with her, you'll need more than one gun to know the one gun you want for life. Can you imagine marring the first girl you dated? Had to try a few before you found your match.
Unless she was your first, then say " I can't see my could in a gun like I could with you".
Or just buy what ever you want any way. 100% of divorces start in marriage so you my as well get a head start.

Also, Consider an Beretta 300 Outlander. They come with adjustable shims allowing many changes to the stock including switching it to left hand if the need ever arrives.

Limiting one to a single gun for life is like limiting a golfer to one club for life. While I have a safe full of shotguns (literally) when I decided to do some trap, I bought a BT-99 for trap. My wife said “don’t you already have shotguns?”, I said “ yes but trap is a different game than skeet or sporting or hunting. Same reason you wouldn’t buy a tennis racket then proceed to use it for squash, badminton, racket ball and tennis. It is for tennis and the other disciplines has discipline specific features. They don’t interchange”. I have the opposite situation, I see a gun I really want but is expensive and I balk, and she usually interjects with “ if you want it buy it”. She has talked me into a few pricey guns that I was looking at the dollar smount and she was just looking at “will this please him, if so do it”. That has always been her attitude. She will ask sometime why I want a particular gun, I tell her snd she nods with understanding. Yes I am spoiled. 😁

She's ok with one gun but not 2. Whats the thinking there? Non of my business lol. 12g is a good choice for only one gun for sure. If you can't hook up with anyone or a club go see how they feel and fit at the stores. Look at reviews on utube. Recoil is going to be the same.

If you made a promise like that to your wife …you should have your MAN CARD revoked! …😆

Limiting one gun per life to a MAN ….is like limiting HIM to one woman ….tell her DAT! 😆😆😆

Do you think there is negligible difference when it comes to gas vs. Inertia shooting 3 inch shells?
