They may not be able to import them into the states due to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (Saturday night specials). The PPK/s was developed to meet the requirements of that act (PPK barrel and slide on a PP lower frame I believe). You just have to be sure they have the appropriate paperwork before you ship them.
I agree with Slavex. The Lefties/Antis would only be too happy to see us get rid of any Firearm. Since they are so rare/inacessible to fellow Cdn.s, I urge you to sell domestically first and foremost.
I hate to see nice collectable 12-6 class firearms (Lugers for instance!) leave the country, because when they ar egone (because of their prohib status) they are gone for good and can never be returned.

While i agree with you I hate to see them go i thought that a 12(6) registered in Canada that left the country could be brought back. The only thing i'm not sure of is of it has to be the same owner or not.
You get to comply with Canadian law, the buyer U.S. law. If he doesn't get the assorted import permits, the firearm will likely be confiscated by U.S. Customs/ATF and be destroyed. You'll be out whatever money you spent, the sale price if you didn't get it before you shipped the firearm and the firearm.
Our bunch will be delighted to see another firearm out of the country. 12-6 or otherwise.
