Countless dealings with them and always highly recommend them!
Buy with confidence and my one issue was sorted in a couple of hours.

You can absolutely trust them. I've ordered many times from them and I've only had one mix up and they went out of their way to make it right.

The CanAm guys are gonna fix your problem....

I've spend a bunch of money there and have always been happy.

There is always a screw-up here and there - it happens.

Norinco Upper Complete/and or Full Norinco AR15 rifles advertised as a 20" pencil barrel with 1:9 twist.
It sure as f**k MAY NOT be 1:9 and there are no markings on the Norc barrel anywhere which indicate the twist rate.
I found this out after many months of waiting, working and gunsmithing costs later after my first range trip......
Worked second jobs doing lawns and general handyman stuff after hours to fund this long time dream project.
That's all I'm saying for now until I hear back from them but it's been 3 days now and nothing.
Just beware of this item if you're debating buying it.

Perform this simple test to determine what twist the barrel has...

Oh the test was performed when every single round of 62gr FMJ was impacting sideways at 25m and then 30" shotgun patterns with sideways impacts again when I confirmed it at 100m.
It shoots 55gr FMJ like a lazer.
The last barrel I had was a Colt SP1 1:12. When I tried it to see if it would stabilize some 62gr Green Tips, I had the exact same result. Hence the whole point of seeking out a 1:9 pencil barrel 20" for the project.
It's a 1:12 alright.

Well that sucks, on a side note I wouldn't take Norinco's word on the twist of any of there guns. My CQA isn't marked either, haven't measured it yet.

Does a wild bear $hit in the woods?

Of course you can, they're awesome folks, but they do get busy, and as someone mentioned, long weekend, so response time could be slow.

Keep trying, they will sort it out eventually.

May Not be 1:9? Just check it yourself, easy enough to do if you have basic cleaning tools and a tape measure. pm if you want help

I thought it was weird that the twist rate for the DA556 m16 clones was laser etched on to the lower reciever. Now that they split up some uppers and lowers to sell them it would be easy to mix up the unmarked twist rate uppers. Crappy deal man.
The only issue I've ever had with them was they sent me the wrong DD rifle one year. They quickly made it right by sending me a Return merchandise order and I sent it back. The next day had the right DD rifle show up. I was impressed.

I'm suspecting that's what happened as I bought a complete upper DA556 solely for the barrel. They probably broke them down to make them an easier sell and they likely got mixed up.
It still ####ing blows. A lot of time, effort, parts searching and a lot of money down range on this one. Will await reply from CanAmm e-mail I sent
