Can I use Lee .45 ACP Factory Crimp Die for .45 colt

Looking for some information.
I have a Lee Factory Crimp Die for .45 ACP
Can I use this for .45 colt (.45 LC)?
It lists multiple calibres on the information card, but .45 colt is not on the list.
I realize that the bullets are typically 1 or 2 thousands larger for the .45 colt.

.45 acp requires a taper crimp, the .45 Colt's, like other revolver rounds needs a firm roll crimp.

No it will not work for .45 Colt. Either use the seating die to crimp as well, or buy a seperate crimp die for your calibre and use it as a seperate step to crimp after seating a bullet.

I have not reloaded for revolver, but I certainly have read that those bullets should be roll crimped.
