Being a resident Norc hater, I have to say that looks very very nice. I just don't dig commie guns.(latent issues I guess :p )

That being said, it is just my minor opinion and I really don't know that much anyway. My Pops and Grandpops are/were Colt guys so I am lucky enough to have 3.

As for the Cheap comment, I am not sure wtf that is supposed to mean? If an guy can only float a Norc does that make him a lesser person or shooter? I have been 'schooled' by a Norc more than once my friends:redface: .

If a guy chooses a Norc to make into a project gun, what business is that of anyones anyway? I will have to bow down to Deckard if I crumble and buy a norc m305 reciever to make a SOCOM style shooter. I am working with my shrink in preperation for the humble pie I will get fed:p

Anyway to get guns into the responsible hands of Canadians is A-OK in my book.

Final point is Between Strangeday and Adrent I think they own 2/3 of the cool, huge $$, exotics on this board. Cheap...mkay maybe not so much.

I figure koldt and a few of those 12x boys have the rest:cool:

Anyhoo I am all for a good Norc bashing followed by a PDB bashing session but that is all in good fun between internet friends.

Cool pics kep them up...I wish I did more before and after shots.

This will be my last comment towards you, as I don't want to get sucked in, but have one thing to say since you went to insulting people over the guns.

Bud, I have probably acquired more guns into my collection in a month than you have in total. Hell I sold off 40 of my collection this year ranging from belt feds, to $5000 SAA's, to $4000 HK's. Calling Norinco owners cheap is like saying anyone who's ever spent less than $10 on a meal must be broke. Please change your tone, and don't slag blatent insults.

Thank you gentlemen, always happy to entertain polite discussion on them, I'm with you to a degree pit, my only misgiving is the political system under which they are manufactured. I made the "lesser evil" judgement, the way I see it, I'm doing my part to disarm the communists. :p

As for what I did to the NP29:

-Contoured and dehorned all the edges and corners
-Recontoured the sights, making the rear more "ghost" style
-Traction grooved the front of the trigger guard
-McC skeletonized hammer
-Over travel adjustable skeletonized aluminum trigger
-Full length guide rod
-GI slidestop swap
-Carbon fiber grips

After the contouring and dehorning a friend mil spec parkerized it for me (he's not after more work though).

I have a couple Bar Sto 9mm bull barrels sitting on the bench, one for it if I don't find my trade.

This reminds me

Your input to this thread is about as constructive as mine was. Is that the best you have? Seems to me you are the one trolling now

K, I'm a little slow on this thread, as I went out for my first taste of Korean buffet and just getting back now.

I think this thread has served it's purpose, Ardent has the required pics.

crazy davey has done a very honourable thing, and I am figuring we can put this one to rest.

Remember guys, we can critique the words or actions, but let's not get personal.
