can someone help me choose a mount and rings?

i ve done some searching but im back where i started . I was going to get the UTG trirail with a rail extension from fabsport but i ve changed my mind since i want to mount a regular scope . Specifically i have a falcon menace 4.5-18 . So what mount should i get and what type of rings is best suited for my M14 ?
 
How much are you prepared to spend?

I can tell you what not to buy, or at least what issues I had with the ones I won't recommend.

I just bought the Arms #18 for $225.00 and it went on in a snap! Easy to mount and very solid...I bought Millett AngleLoc rings ($40.00) but they had to be the high ones to get the scopre to clear the rear sight...

Im from montreal so i can get the sadlak from fabsport pretty easily . Are they any good ? And where is the best place to order the arms #18 ?
 
What carbonrod said, i have a arms 18 mount and low leupold mounts, you can still use the iron sights or scope if needed. hope it helps. keep sending lead down range..
