Can someone help with an estimate?

An elderly friend is looking to get rid of this but isn't sure what to ask. Thanks for any help, google didn't turn up much.

Looks like an older gun then that, with the Jones underlever, condition does not look good from the pictures, again, this is hard to tell from where I sit. The action looks loose from 1 of the pictures, I can't see the barrel inside and out. Without the gun in my hands or better pics./description, it's a wall hanger and worth $150 at most. IF it is/was in good condition ie: action tight and good lockup, very minor barrel pitting inside and out, ribs in place solidly (could be fired), it could be worth $300. If it were a major(famous) maker, it could be worth even more....IMHO

weld it up at your gunsmiths, deregister it ,no worries ,no unsafe loads. might get a $100 at a local auction as a wall hanger.
