Can someone in Kitchener/Waterloo lend me their chronograph?

Have been shooting for a few years now. Have had reloading equipment for just as long, but am only now getting to putting together my first handloads for a newly purchased Sako in 6.5x55.

I do not yet own a chronograph and so was wondering if anyone in the KW area would be willing to loan theirs to a novice reloader for a week/weekend to get an idea of where my velocities are at.

Otherwise I’ll just determine by doing a comparative from 100-200 yard targets and run the math. Thought I’d try this first though.

Thanks in advance.

Man, you can get a cheap chrony for very little moolah. A chrony is hardly something expensive considering the price of a complete reloading setup. No need for a labradar or a magnetospeed, a cheap Caldwell does just fine if it's only for sporadic use.

I got a Shooting Chrony as soon as I started reloading. I'd consider it an essential piece of equipment if you want to work at the higher end of the charge table. I would like to eventually get a Lab Radar, though... The Chrony is very sensitive to light conditions and sometimes gives wonky readings. A rifle might have a shorter throat (for example) than the test rifle used to create the load data. That will cause higher pressure and higher velocity than in the book but you wouldn't know it unless you are measuring velocity.
