I`ve scoured the internet trying to find even a model number for a gun I am looking for. It is an old Lakefield Mossberg Mark 3. I`ve had guys say they have one, then the pics of theirs show the front of the stock folds down for a front grip. This is not the style I`m after. I want a match to my Lakefield Mossberg Mark 2, here is a pic of my Mark 2:

I know they make the same style in the semi-auto.....just can`t find a model number anywhere. As a matter of fact, there is no model number on my Mark 2 just that it is made by Lakefield Arms LTD.

The model # is MkIII...I know that's not helpful though.

They did come in different styles. I'm currently working on one that does not have the fold down forestock (I have a Mossberg 352 that has that feature). If you want to swap stocks (and cover shipping) I'd have no problem with that.

I can send you some pictures this weekend if it'll help. I'll also measure out any differences between my MkII, and MkIII. You may be able to fit a MkIII into a MkII stock (ignoring cut for bolt handle).

Edited:
I'm crazy...thought there was a picture!

Right at the moment, I`m trying to track down a Mark 3.

There is no special number for the one piece stocked Marklll...i have had several and only one was a 2 piece. When Mossberg took over from Winchester, they used thier old stock of Mossberg woods for production , thus the Mossberg fold down was matched with the Mark ll and Mark lll irons, as they had the box mag. Keep looking, i have one for sale in EEs but is refinished blonde as is its sisters, the Mark l and Mark ll. I hated the chipped, worn finish that they all wore.

No problem Camster...i have many .22s listed and will send required pics to an email addy. But a swap to maybe the same colour as his would please him better than a dark and a blonde.
.

Hey! It's just occurred to me that the Mossie with the fold-down forward stock section would officially be an "assault rifle" in California, New York, etc.....

For those that want to go "tacticool" with 'em, don't bother - they're already there!!
