Can someone reccomend a good cheap 1.5-5?

Need to put new glass on my .44 carbine. It needs to be compact, 1.5 (or so) to 5 (or so) x 32-36mm. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg cuse the scope will likely get busted if I do (This gun gets HUNTED....and the terrain is brutal)

Suggestions? and more importantly...wanna sell me one?

If you want "good and cheap" check out used scopes. I would look for a 1 X 4 leupy or something similar in a burris. Why would you want bigger than a 20mm obj. on a compact low power scope, 20 mm will give you all the exit pupil you can use even at max power, your lenses and coatings are more important.
