Can someone tell me about the M4 22 hornet?

What's the value of a M4 22 Hornet survival rifle? I have an opportunity to buy one. Looks like this

My understanding is that they are quite collectable south of the boarder, however, their restricted status in Canada makes them much less desirable.

I've seen guys asking $500-$600 for them, but what they get for them I have no idea....

I had one back in the 90's. It was a fun, neat, eye catcher. Being 22 hornet ammo was hard to find I tried to reload for it. I crushed more cases than I loaded and gave up. Took it to a show and sold it because I needed money.

Do I wish I still had it, I wish I had all of them. Priced right, I would buy another. Am I going out looking for another, Nope.
