Can someone tell me what this stuff is in my BCG?

So I was shooting a match with Norc ammo, this weekend. Took the bolt apart to clean it and found this in the BCG.

It almost looks like the jacket is being sheered off as it passes the as port in the barrel. Mind you this is a brand new barrel

Anyone can shed any light on this?

It is an well known aftermarket barrel maker on a Norc upper with norc gas tube.

My buddy has the same thing when he shoots Norc ammo in his Mossberg bolt action rifle. In his case, its actually the firing pin snaging little pieces of the primer and pulling them into his bolt. Take a look at the primers of the rounds that were fired.

Almost looks like pieces of primer cups...

I think i found the problem.

the one on the left seems to have a pretty messed up firing pin hole

Bits of the primer.....
Brush/shake them out, check under the extractor too, re-assemble, continue to fire.
