Can this forum be called something else and/or moved please? It's too close to the Hunting and Sporting Arms section, both in name and in location.
And your point is??
Read the headers twice and click once.
Or , you could form your own server and create your own web page and arrange it any way you like.

Yeah, ... one forum for the shotguns is fine.
I believe this is subtle humour by the administrators. The General Purpose forum description excludes shotguns for hunting and skeet/trap which is fine. However if all shotgun hunting and all clay target shotguns are excluded then what's left hardly seems to qualify as "general."General Purpose is way too close in concept to Hunting and Sporting. Especially when people read the sub-header of "Shotguns for things other than hunting and skeet/trap" and all they see is
"Shotguns for . . . hunting and skeet/trap" Oh, THAT'S the one I want.
Why didn't they just make them: Tactical/Defensive Shotguns and Hunting & Sporting Shotguns?
because ours is not to reason why but........I have no idea why they do what they doand why is even deeper into the the rabbit hole.
Seriously. Enough with screwing around with forums. One forum for shotguns is enough. I saw the poll and voted. Maybe it's because I am of the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mindset. But holy crap. There is no need for two shotgun forums. If there was a huge difference between the two forums or if there were 100 new threads every day, I would say go for it. But they are shotguns, a "tactical" shotgun can be used for hunting (and often are) and vice versa.
That's my rant and I can face the facts that nothing will probably come of it other than someone with 100 posts will tell me that it was a good idea for two forums.
If anyone thinks that a tactical shotgun and a sporting shotgun are two of the same you need to educate your self
. We absolutely need two shotgun forums. The labels for them are just fine IMO.
