Many folks would be embarrassed that they can't tell the difference between the words "rifle", and "shotgun"
There are also myriad threads with the words "shotty" or "shottie." These words are unsuitable in reference to Hunting and Sporting Shotguns. I would respectfully suggest the software be amended so they will be treated as profanities the same as c**ks***er or f**k and appear henceforth as s****y and s*****e on this forum.
Time for spring cleaning.![]()
Here, here, and all that rot. Those cutsie names for guns make me
habitual clickers? We should watch the road when we drive, watch our step when we walk and as responsible shooters we should know our target before we shoot. Should be no problem for you dead eye types to click the right spot?

Keep it in the green zoneThere really is no rhyme nor reason...
What is the difference between:
Hunting and Sporting Arms
Hunting firearms - we are seriously fun
..and
Hunting and Sporting Shotguns
Why doesn't the first one state Hunting and Sporting Rifles?
Because at present, it includes hunting archery/crossbows, although it's not stated.
It's being considered. Gt has final say.Does anyone even know that?
There was a poll recently and the membership says an archery section is in order.

For the record, I voted no in that poll because it has no interest to me, however if that's what the majority of people want then it should be done IMHO.
Also, I'd much rather see an archery section than it being mixed in with sporting rifles!
