Can this muzzleloader be saved?

Fixable? possibly depending on the barrel's bore condition. You are looking at cutting both ends , crowning the muzzle, and drilling and taping the breech end and fitting a breech plug then moving the lug for the wedge key and cutting a dovetail for the front sight. A replacement barrel will fit from a TC or a lyman/Safari Arms/Charles Daley/Churchill/Investarms, Hawken style that has the same size across the flats. Finding a donor barrel in Canada is the issue. getting a drop in new is a problem, lots of us places list them but don't stock them, and few if any will ship a percussion breeched barrel to Canada. Flint yes, but percussion can be an issue.
I would be looking for a good used barrel. They are out there in 45/50 and 54 cal. CVA barrels will not fit in the tang and the hammer will not line up.

I've picked up three of the tc side locks in the last 3 months with the most expensive costing $250
Hang that one on a wall & go shopping dude
