Can Tire MAXIMUM work bench for press?

I know I've seen some pics of guys using these MAXIMUM heavy duty work benches in their reloading room..I'm re-doing mine and I bought two of these benches when they were on sale at 50%.

Obviously if you were to mount the press on the edge of the wooden bench you will cut off access to a drawer, so I was going to use mounts for my presses:

The bench seems nice and solid, and will probably just be more solid once I load it with a couple of hundred pounds of gear. Just want to make sure that other people have mounted presses on them without any problem.

Mines got a 650XL on it and I don’t have any issues with it. Keep in mind it’s a little high of you go my route and put on a casefeeder that almost touches the ceiling. Other than that it’s plenty strong

If the press goes to one of the outside corners, the drawers can be used. Friend has a press on this bench this way

I've got the one with the overhead shelves and the drawers down one side. I replaced the top with wood before mounting my press. I'd definitely buy another for the same purpose. No idea how the included top would stand up to a press though.

I've got one of those benches. I like it a lot, but the drawers need to be assembled and they are backwards. I think they've fixed it, but it never hurts to be aware of it. I can probably dig up a picture if you want to see it

I have the same one you do. Didn't replace the particle board top (figured I would once it broke), installed a lee bench plate system. Has been chuggung along for 7 years now.... with hard use from a single stage and turret.

I have the same bench. Works well.
Mount presses towards the ends and the drawers can open. I can also mount some presses right in the middle if they are narrow enough. The top is made of bamboo and has held up well the last few years. Doesn't feel rickety and loose when you are reloading on it but it would feel much more solid if the bench were anchored to the floor or wall.

I'm using an older style CrappyTire workbench as my reloading station. The counter top was made of MDF and I had to double up the counter with 3/4" ply. Because my space is limited and I have two presses, I'm using the InLineFabrication junior height quick change mounting system and have plates for my Hornady LNL AP and one for a Lee. There's enough clearance under the ram for the drawers to open.

Iam using 2 of them bolted together, I relocated one of my drawers so it wasn't in the way, was a bit of a pain, Got both of them for $99 each in the clearance section because the bamboo on the top had a few small splits, Didnt make any difference to me. I have a load master where the 3 hole is now, It hangs down a little bit, I just have to pull the arm 1/4 of the way to get into the drawer

I used this workbench for my press, my only complaint is that there is no leg room.

I also have an ultramount for my rockchucker and couldn’t be happier. I also plan on getting the auto case eject system from inline fab (makers of the ultramount) that also adds a bin system on the side of the press.

I have same bench as well. Replaced top with 3 layers of 1/2" G1S ply. Got rid of right drawer. Going on at least 7 years now.

I got away with just slapping some 3/4” plywood underneath the stock top keeping the original look of it. I’ve FL resized up to .308 having to put all my weight on it at times without even a hint of a problem

I use another flavour of CT bench and built a bracket out of 1/4" plate that mounts to the end of the top. It is drilled and tapped for my Rock Chucker, Lyman Turret , and MEC shotshell press. Each changes out in a matter of a few seconds.

I bolted a four by four down the full right hand edge of the bench. The four by four has an inch and a half overhang. Its makes for a sturdy mount and lots of clearance for the drawers and press handle.

Thanks for the help guys. Glad to hear the benches are sturdy enough to handle the presses. After toiling away in a narrow 8x16 room for years, I'm pretty excited to upgrade to a nice 14x 18 room. My old bench is sturdy as hell with 3 layers of 3/4" plywood on top and metal brackets similar to Boo's for presses, but it's not going anywhere.

I also built a 2'x4' bench with a 2" plywood top that will go next to the CT benches, so if I don't like the CT ones for any reason I can swap the press to that bench. The first bench took awhile to put together as the instructions are a little vague in some areas but the next one went together in under an hour, so not too hard to assemble these things!
