Can u ID\ confirm my BCG

It's not like any of the SP1 carriers I have seen. Those were manufactured from the ground up as semi-auto only, and lack the step on the bottom near the back end where the surface to trip an auto sear has been milled away as an afterthought. However, the way the cocking ramp has been cut back to expose the firing pin is a Colt trick for their semiauto rifles, and the C stamp does make it look like a Colt. It's possible this is a SP1 carrier, just from a different time frame than I am used to.

It's a later issued "BATF" semi-auto only Colt BCG. The channel cut in the bottom surface allowed the "notched" semi-auto only hammer to ride up into the carrier and the notch would catch on a modified firing pin's flange in the case of burst fire. The early issue sporter carriers did not have a channel cut, just the auto sear engagement surface cut-back. The BATF requested modifications to make the sporter harder to convert to automatic.
