I'm usually not one of those fawning fanboys, and I want to emphasize from the start that I have not (yet!) given them any money at all, not one red Cent, and yet this is the service I received from Tactical Imports:
First, I need to admit that it started with me being a bit of a jerk. A couple years ago I was on the market for something, I had some interactions with tactical Imports, some things happened that frankly were simply outside of their control, but that didn't stop me from spouting off and giving them a piece of my mind anyways, and honestly I really thought I had burned my bridge.
A couple weeks ago there was a thread here about blowback on a 410 revolver, and when I took my sr410 out to test it, I noticed that the blast guard was missing on the one side!
I figured that I would have noticed a blast guard shooting off if it had happened under my watch, so I contacted the guy I bought it used from a couple years ago and ask him maybe if he had removed it for some reason, but he assured me the guard had been there when he sold it to me, so maybe I did lose it?
Either way I needed a replacement so I contacted the company directly, Sulan Arms in Turkey. I will point out here that if you are looking for a company that can ignore several emails in a row, Sulan Arms is the one you want!
Giving up on the company, I started searching for Canadian distributors and found that tactical Imports was the only one.
I almost did not email them because I figured they would not want to help me, not just because I hadn't bought the gun from them, but also because of how I had spouted off on them previously.
Well, I could not have been more wrong. My email was answered almost immediately and in the friendliest tone you can imagine. They told me it would be no problem at all to get a replacement part for me.
Shortly thereafter I got another friendly email informing me that the part had shipped out and giving me a tracking number.
I even got another friendly email a couple days later telling me that they had checked the tracking for me and informing me what day I could expect it to arrive!
The part arrived today, a day early!
How much do you have to pay to get service like that?
When I emailed the friendly person back and inquired how much I owed them for the part and the shipping, they replied that there was no charge and they were just happy to help!
Can you believe service like that?
I have never bought anything from Tactical Imports before, but I know where I am going shopping next, and I think you should too!
